Biography
My name is Thomas Wohlgemuth, I come from France, was born in Paris in 1979 but lived almost my whole time in the near of Toulouse (Rabastens -NTK Represent!!). My artistic life began with dance with 6 years old. Then, I was in a circus club until 8 years old. When I was 9 years old, my parents decided to let me play piano. At the beginning, I had to play classic songs and I wanted to stop. There was nothing creative for me, so, nothing interesting. Then my teacher said, okay, try something else: To produce with a Keyboard and an Atari. That was for me really something crazy, so i didn´t give up. Then, later as I was 16, I began to learn african percussions with a teacher and at the same time to learn diabolo with friends. When I was 19, decided to go away for one year, so I went to Germany, to make an european project in the Black Forest. After this year in Germany, came one other and one other, and well, I was 5 years here in Germany, the most in Tübingen. There, I made a vocational training as social worker. I worked also in the circus Zambaioni for children and teenagers
Now, I' m 26 and I play diabolo since 10 years. I try to mix the juggling with the dance (also liquid dance) and the music. I play on some drum´n bass and electro events like those of Bassjunk or of Santorin and Bag Of Goodies in Germany and those of Bouge in France. Now, I produce again, with the PC, this time. I try to make my style of music but i like so much different kinds of music and also Bands like Mr. Bungle or Fantomas, so it´s difficult to make only one music direction, hehe. DJ'ing is my new hobby; juggling with vinyls :-). I play since 2005 in the Band Apoken Shodan as a DJ and behind the machines.
I think that there is a lot of young people who are in the same way of thinking than me; they want to create something but are too shy to realize it. I say to them: just do it, forget the people who criticize and do what you want to do.
